21 August 2024

A series of overnight works are starting on the road leading up to the Copthorne Building from the main hospital road.

These works are within the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital site and do not affect Mytton Oak Road, however we wanted to keep you informed. These works will widen the road outside the Copthorne Building and relocate the pavement to improve access for patients, visitors and staff, as part of the ongoing Hospitals Transformation Programme (HTP).

These works will last seven nights, commencing Wednesday 21 August. We anticipate that these works will be completed by Wednesday 28 August. There will be no works undertaken over the weekend between these two dates.

The road will remain accessible throughout the works and the pavement will remain open.

If you have any questions regarding the works being undertaken, you can contact the project team using the information below.
