The Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital NHS Trust will reintroduce charges for scan photos within its Maternity Services from Monday 4 September.

Fees, which were paused during the COVID-19 pandemic will remain at:

  • £5 for one photograph
  • £10 for three photographs

Payments are by card only. Please note that if the option of three photographs is selected, they will all be of the same images.

Payment machines will be located in waiting areas at the Princess Royal Hospital in Telford and the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital. Photos will need to be paid for prior to entering the scan room.

Service users who have further questions are asked to speak to their midwife, or midwife sonographer.
