Independent Maternity Review

The Independent Review of Maternity Services at the Trust, led by Donna Ockenden, has now concluded.

The first report was published in December 2020 and the final report was published in March 2022. The two reports can be found here from the GOV.UK webpages:

Families who wish to discuss the care they have received should please do so by contacting: sath.maternitycare@nhs.net or by phone to the Patient Advice and Liaison Service on: 01952 641222 extension 4382.

If you have any questions or comments as an expectant mother/birthing person, please speak to your midwife or GP in the first instance.

Ockenden Report Assurance Committee

The is a committee of the Board of Directors that meets monthly to discuss progress with the Ockenden Report Action Plan. These meetings are live-streamed in public (via Microsoft Teams), and anyone is welcome to view or listen to this meeting online.

The next ORAC meeting will occur on 30 April 2024 at 2:30pm. You can view the livestream on the day by clicking here.
