Whilst no-one ever wants for themselves or their family to be in hospital, it is important that the experience of being a patient is as positive as it can be and that is why SaTH Charity exist, we are here to offer the support to go above and beyond what the NHS budget allows. It is often the small things that can make a big difference – radios and headsets for patients, toy pets for dementia patients to stroke, iPads to aid communication with families at home – not medical essentials, but small things that can make a big difference. The Charity also supports the introduction of new state-of-the art equipment and technologies to provide the latest developments in medical care.
SaTH Charity supports the Trust’s vision to be an organisation that is continuously improving patient’s experiences and outcomes – our aim is to be safe and effective, kind and caring and to go above and beyond for our patients and our staff.
The funds raised by SaTH Charity help to provide the extra services and support that help our healthcare service to go further, now and for generations to come.
