The League of Friends at the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital is celebrating the changing of its name with a competition to design a new logo.

The League of Friends (LoF) has been working in partnership with the Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital NHS Trust (SaTH), which runs the county’s two acute hospitals for nearly 60 years.

Chairman of the LoF Richard Steventon said: “The funds we have been raising have been invested into equipment for both the Princess Royal Hospital (PRH) and the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital (RSH), so it seemed only fitting that we change our constitution, and our name, to reflect this and to solidify our continued commitment to supporting SaTH in the future.

“We are one hospital over two sites and we are very proud of our partnership with both hospitals.

“We are asking for help designing our new logo with our new name – The League of Friends of Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital.”

If you would like to get involved and enter your design, the LoF is offering a prize of £100 to the winning entry.
