Careers in Pathology
Clinical placements
We offer a small number of laboratory-based placements each year. These are offered to under-graduate students who are in year 2 of their BSc (Hons) Biomedical Science degree. The student opts to take a sandwich year, or the placement may form part of an integrated applied degree where the degree and registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) become coterminous. Work Experience
Work experience is not offered within the laboratory because of the nature of the work. In some circumstance a shadowing experience may be offered.
