Elective orthopaedic surgery at Princess Royal Hospital

Elective orthopaedic surgery at Princess Royal Hospital (PRH) is paused due to estates issues on the recovery ward.

The Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital NHS Trust (SaTH) is committed to resuming the service and we are working to restart elective orthopaedic surgery in the summer.

We are sorry that patients are facing long waits for planned orthopaedic surgery and would like to assure them that we and system partners are doing all that they can to resume a full orthopaedic service at PRH.
